El antiguo paisaje arquitectónico de Grafenegg fue mejorado en 2007 mediante la adición de un escenario al aire libre. el edificio llamado Wolkenturm fue diseñado por los arquitectos Marie-Therese Hamoncourt J. y Ernst Fuchs (una firma vienesa conocida como next-ENTERprise).El Wolkenturm es una escultura de 50 metros de altura, nivelado con las cimas de los árboles más altos, y ofrece una vista inesperada en una serie de perspectivas diferentes. The Wolkenturm is a sculpture with 50 feet in height, level with the tops of the highest trees, and offers an unexpected view from a range of different perspectives. Slanting, unaligned windows fill the arena with light and give an impression of natural airiness. The auditorium have space for 1730 concertgoers, and an astonishing view of the historic Grafenegg castle.
The shell-shaped open-air arena enjoys excellent acoustics, thanks to the management of the Munich firm Müller-BBM.
