Digital Beijing

El concepto para Digital Beijing se desarrolló a través de la revisión y reflexión sobre la arquitectura contemporánea en la era de los digitos y la información.

El edificio se asemeja a un código de barras digital y una placa de circuito integrado y se desprende de una serena superficie del agua, buscando una forma específica mediante el uso de una masa abstracta. Este edificio es un impresionante símbolo de los Juegos Olímpicos y de la era de la información.

En el futuro, se espera que el Edificio Digital de Beijing serán siempre en renovación, adaptación a la evolución de la tecnología.

*The concept for Digital Beijing was developed through reconsideration and reflection on contemporary architecture in the era of digit and information.

the building resembles to a digital bar code, and an integrated circuit board and it emerges from a serene water surface, seeking for a specific form through the use of an abstracted mass. This building is an impressive symbol of the Olympic Games and of the information era.

In the future, they expect that the Digital Beijing Building will always be under renovation, evolving keeping pace with technology.

Roche bau 1

Dentro de la remodelación de las instalaciones de la farmaceútica Roche en Basel, se construirá el edificio sede de esta empresa, que será el más alto de Suiza. Esta obra de Herzog & De Meuron será construida entre el 2008 y el 2011, luego de que pase los requerimientos municipales durante el 2007. La remodelación de las instalaciones tendrá un costo de USD $640M, y contará con 2 edificios de los Arquitectos Suizos. Esta torre reunirá las oficinas que la empresa tiene dispersas en la ciudad.
